Programming Portfolio
Projects & classes
Since I was introduced to computer science in school, I've particularly enjoyed creating my own projects. Here are a few:
Whack-a-mole
2015
My first project was a whack-a-mole game created using Processing, a graphics-oriented programming language. I learned about many basic programming concepts while creating my game.
Meteor Shower
2015
Meteor Shower, a scrolling game inspired by Space Invaders, was my first iOS app. Unfortunately, I was not able to publish Meteor Shower to the App Store.
SPIKE RUSH
2016
I continued to improve my programming skills with Spike Rush, another scrolling game created using Processing. Later that summer, I adapted and improved the game for iOS, which I released in August 2016. Spike Rush was later recognized by Meta founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, and in November 2016, I was invited to speak at the MiSK Global Forum in Saudi Arabia about the creation of Spike Rush.
THE MATH GRID
2017
I pursued my passion for app development further in the summer of 2017 with the creation of The Math Grid. The Math Grid randomly generates new arithmetic puzzles of a chosen difficulty every time the user plays, making it the most programmatically complex project I had created at the time. After creating the app, I developed a separate program to solve a given puzzle.
CLOCKWORK
Present
Clockwork is an iOS app designed for high school and college students to automate the time management process and mitigate procrastination.
